Brangelina to De-Portmanteau Back to Brad and Angelina?
The rumor mills are churning once again. The current topic swirling through is the possible demise of the five year relationship between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Brad and Angelina met in 2004 while filming the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith. At the time, Brad was married to the beautiful Jennifer Aniston. It was approximately three months after Pitt and Aniston separated in 2005 that he and Angelina went out in public together for the first time. While they are not legally married, they do have six children together: three birth children and three adopted children.
Interestingly enough, there seems to be a continental divide among the rumor mills. The Aussies and the Brits are reporting the alleged split, and claim lawyers are prepping a division of their combined $350 million dollar fortune. Aussie News at Yahoo.com and British Tabloid News of the World are crying SPLIT! On the US side, People magazine and PopEater are shooting down this particular rumor in their own mills.
PopEater offered some pretty solid logic on this one. Angelina Jolie is nothing if not media savvy. She is the queen of spin and keeps a wicked-tight reign on any fodder that makes it to the press. And what does get there usually goes to People magazine in her time and in her way. It doesn't seem to follow suit with the usual coverage of any happennings in her life to let something as big as this leak to the Aussies and the Brits..no offense to either!
So, whether you consider Angelina a home-wrecker and wouldn't be overly sympathetic over the split, or you're a Brangelina fan, only time will tell on this one.
