Are David Beckham and Celeb Chef Gordon Ramsay About to Open an L.A. Pub?

Who wants to lay bets as to what starts flying first, frying pans or soccer balls? Could David Beckham possibly be able to take the heat from the master temper tantrum chef himself, Gordon Ramsay?
David Beckham sure seems to think so.
Although the two superstars have publicly talked about opening a restaurant together before, it now appears that David Beckham and Gordon Ramsay are ready to take the plunge into the proverbial frying pan together.
Sources claim that Beckham is jonesing for pub fare exactly like what he would receive at home, including traditional menu items such as pie and mash, fish and chips and of course, a good lager shandy. For those who aren't in the know, a lager shandy is beer mixed with ginger beer or lemonade and is an extremely popular drink in the UK.
The close pals have been tossing the idea around for years, believing there is a large customer base in the L.A. area that would support a traditional English drinking establishment.
Rumor has it that the pub will be named the Queen Vic, after his wife but a spokesperson for Beckham has denied the rumor, claiming: "There are no plans in the pipeline, but never say never."
