Video: Kate Gosselin Has Tough First Night on DWTS
Kate Gosselin stepped out of her comfort zone of being a frazzled, pissed off mom of eight to dancing the waltz on the ABC's hit show Dancing With The Stars.
Now, I don't normally watch DWTS, because it's all kinds of stupid. However, this season's lineup is so chockful of celebrity hacks that it just begs to be mocked and observed in the same way I would a Britney Spears performance. It's entertaining, but for all the wrong reasons.
Kate, for some unknown reason is a huge draw for this season and the show pulled in some insane ratings last night. Why? See above. Humans are incapable of looking away from carnage in the making. Kate wasn't terrible, but she looked so nervous and mechanical I wanted to bust an oilcan out on her Tin Man style.
One judge said her partner Tony Dovolani looked like he was wheeling around a shopping cart, for which he received boos and hisses. Sadly I have to agree, in fact, that's a pretty accurate depiction. Kate wasn't exactly "dancing," as much as she was being moved around the stage. Then again, this isn't her forte.
Now, if they wanted to bring out some bratty and unruly kids and see which contestant could get them to line up, shut their twinkie holes and whimper silently to themselves, then Kate would have that competition all sewn up!
I refuse to discuss that sad clown Pamela Anderson. FAIL!
