Johnson & Johnson Heiress Arrested For Theft
I guess the saying that money can't buy happiness might be true, it also can't buy common sense, reasonable behavior or self control.
Casey Johnson, wealthy heiress and socialite, was arrested for grand theft after allegedly stealing designer clothes, jewelry and "other items" from her now former friend, supermodel Jasmine Lennard. Sadly, this story gets even more bizarre.
According to Lennard, she had befriended the troubled Casey and in return Johnson had become obsessed with her and perhaps felt their friendship was something more akin to an affair. Lennard denies ever sleeping with Casey.
Among the stolen items which were discovered by a third party, Yahoo heiress Courtenay Semel (former girlfriend of Lindsay Lohan, Tila Tequila), was a "600-page legal document" and Lennard's underwear. Semel, who is friends with both women discovered the items and alerted Lennard with a text message:
"There's a problem, Jaz, Casey Johnson just got into bed with me and she is wearing your underwear. You need to call police. There are documents here, your shoes and your clothing — you need to call the police."
Lennard did just that and when police arrived at Johnson's Los Angeles home they discovered the model's belongings. Also, as a bizarre caveat to this creepy story, Lennard discovered a used vibrator in her bed and wet towels on the floor, all indicating Johnson masturbated in her home, left the evidence and used her shower. RUDE!
Johnson was arrested and was being held on a $20,000 bond at a Van Nuys jail. Lennard was nonplussed with the event and had this to say to the NYPost:
"Since the day I met Casey, I have only been a good force in her life. She's been like a little sister to me...I tried to get her off drugs and alcohol. I tried to get her into a 12-step program. I tried to help take care of her daughter. I've given her money."
"I am the only person who helped this girl, and I believe she was obsessed with me, and thinks in her mind we had some kind of affair. That is not the case.She breaks into my Hollywood apartment, masturbates in my bed, has a shower in my bathroom, takes every thing in my apartment."
"This time she really messed with the wrong lady. I am going to teach her a lesson."
No doubt there is more to this story, but let's hope it doesn't involved more sullied sex toys, insane lesbian anguish.
