Enter to Win Oscar Red Carpet Seats!
Have you always wanted to go to the Oscars? Have you dreamt of being there while the stars walked by on their way into the Kodak Theatre? Here’s your chance. Beginning Monday, September 13, at noon ET/9 am PT, through September 19, at midnight ET/9am PT fans world wide may apply online. The seats will be given out in a random drawing with winners being notified late September.
The application form will be available at Oscars.org/bleachers, and must be filled out in its entirety. The forms are only available online and must be submitted online. Entrants may register for themselves and one guest only.
Those who are selected will be able to cheer on their favorite Oscar nominees, presenters and other celebrities along the 500-foot-long walkway. Everyone seated in the bleacher area will be invited to watch the Academy Awards telecast at a nearby location.
All winning contestants will be screened prior to final approval. No overnight waiting is permitted. It is the winners responsibility to secure their own travel and hotel accommodations. As many as 20,000 fans have applied for the red carpet seats in previous years.
The 83rd Academy Awards will take place Sunday, February 27, 2011.
