Actor Corey Haim Dead At 38 From Apparent Overdose
More sad news on the celebrity front. According to TMZ, actor Corey Haim, of 80's movie fame, and one of the two "Coreys" was found dead from an apparent overdose.
Drug addiction had plagued Haim for much of his adult life, and despite recent efforts to revive his career by teaming up with his friend and frequent co-star Corey Feldman, Haim never seemed able to overcome his demons.
Haim, in his heyday, was a popular teen actor, who's boyish good looks and off-kilter comedic sense were a dynamic combination. Best known for his role in the iconic horror film, Lost Boys, followed up by License To Drive (both starring the two "Coreys") Haim never really was able to transcend his teen career into adulthood and is wasn't long until he became involved and addicted to drugs.

Update: Police reports state Corey was transferred to St. Joseph Hospital in Burbank and was pronounced dead at 3:30 am. They feel his death was an accidental overdose.
