Pride is one of those traits we’re told not to indulge in overly much. That it’s not good to be “full of ourselves.” I’d like to say that it’s perfectly okay to take pride in your business and that you actually need to in order to be successful.
The definitions for pride I found that work:

• a feeling of self-respect and personal worth
• satisfaction with your achievements
• the trait of being spurred on by a dislike of falling below your standards
• be proud of; "He prides himself on making it into law school"

Let’s say you are a small business owner. You have a home-based business. One of the key attributes for success in this type of endeavor is belief in what you are doing. Have you considered that everything you need to grow a successful business can be found inside yourself?
